The Ingomar Swim Team participates in the North Hills Summer Swim League (Gold Division) with seven other swim teams. These teams are Avonworth, Brook Park, Community, Franklin Ridge, Hampton, Mccandless, Richland.
Our swim season consists of swimming against each of these teams in a dual meet where all members of our team are given the opportunity to compete. The year ends with a Relay Championship Meet, an Individual Championship Meet (with all 8 teams competing in both Championship meets) and the Ingomar Club Championships. A dual meet consists of 42 events, with a mix of individual and relay events. Events are scheduled by gender and age, giving everyone a chance to be successful. The coaches develop the meet line-up, which is a listing of who swims in what events. It is put together to utilize the swimmers in the most competitive way.
